My Micro-Saas Build Experiment — Part 1

Those who know me recognize that I have trouble sticking to one project at a time. One week I am writing a book, the next I am immersed in research about some obscure topic (probably to write something about it), the next I am 100% committed to creating the perfect “English” garden in my Monterrey, México back yard, a place more suited to cactus than wildflowers. Some have suggested I have ADD, ADHD, or some other combination of letters that often result in prescriptions for mind-altering medications. The truth is I’m not on drugs, I promise; I’m just interested in millions of things!

Anyway, about 2 months ago I had the idea to create a simple debt reduction tool to help me combat my consumer debt. After a bit of research, I landed on the “Snowball Method” of debt reduction as the most efficient and straightforward plan. You may have heard of it.

The Snowball Method was popularized by Dave Ramsey, the financial guru. It is a strategy where you pay off debts from smallest to largest, regardless of interest rate.
